Grace and Kyler

Kyler and Grace are two of the kindest, polite, and thoughtful high schoolers I have ever worked with.  Early into their session, Kyler very sincerely paused and asked me, “How has your day been today?  What have you been up to?”  I was momentarily speechless.  High school boys just don’t ask me how I’m doing.  Grace was just the same. […]

Baby Girl

Oh baby!  I was so happy to hear that Rachita and Kunal were expanding their family. It was such a privilege to see this sweet family twice in a matter of weeks.  Rachita and Kunal are as genuine and kind as they come. They love each other, are great parents, and are just all around fun to be around. And […]

Katie: Pure Joy

Katie is my favorite senior of 2020.  Duh.  She’s my daughter.  Isn’t she lovely?  We broke her senior portraits into three sessions: a mini-session in the middle of a hike, a full session the following night once we worked out our kinks, and a sports-themed mini session with her best friend Morgan. It’s crazy to me that we are on […]

Macartney Family

Those Macartney’s are one cute family.  I mean seriously…  We had a perfect fall day for their session and a gorgeous location to grab some pretty family photos. Thank you for trusting me with these memories.  I had a great time. May God bless you in the coming year. #jodistilpphotography #familyportraits #familyoffive #fallportraits #oregonwinecountry

Sports Mini Session

My daughter Katie and her best friend Morgan play soccer together at Newberg High School.  They wanted soccer related senior portraits, individually and together, so we decided to shoot a separate sports mini-session, outside of their senior portrait sessions.  It was a very bright day and our time on the field before the football players came out to practice was […]

Combining Family and Senior Portraits

The Sellke’s were overdue for family portraits and their daughter needed senior portraits.  She didn’t want a fussy senior session so we combined a family photo session with some senior portraits.  It was a win-win for everyone.  What a great idea.  Have the best year Annika!  It was great to meet you and your family. #jodistilpphotography #seniorportraits #familyportraits #classof2020 #newberghighschool

Justine

Justine is a senior at Newberg High School and one of my daughter’s friends.  She has a beautiful soul, and is thoughtful and kind.  It was so fun to take Justine’s senior portraits. We had a crisp, sunny fall day for her session in the vineyard.  Have the best senior year Justine.  I look forward to seeing the places you’ll […]

Kelvin

Kelvin’s mom Jarae and I are running partners which means we have spent hours over hundreds of miles talking about and praying for each other’s families.  I feel like her kids are part of my crew even though I’ve spent very little face to face time with them.  Kel is one dynamic young man.  He is loyal. Hard working. Dedicated. […]

Josh

Josh is a senior at Tigard High School.  He plays football, runs track (anchoring the 4×100 relay), and obviously spends time in the weight room because he is ripped.  He also just earned the coveted Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts and was very kind, humble about his accomplishments, and respectful in all of my interactions with him.  This […]

Morgan

Morgan is like one of our family members.  She and my daughter Katie are BFF’s and they are together as often as possible. It was so fun to take Morgan’s senior portraits, especially since I was privy to all the pre-session shopping, planning and scheming.  Morgan’s mom and Katie came along to her session, which made a fun night even […]
