Grace

Grace is a Class of 2023 senior at C.S. Lewis Academy. She loves to read and play the piano.  She also plays volleyball, enjoys traveling, and is partial to her super cool Jeep.  She opted to shoot her session on her family’s hazelnut farm and we had the best time pulling her interests into her senior portraits.  We had some […]

Liv

Liv kicked off my Class of 2023 individual senior sessions and man was it a perfect evening. I’ve known Liv since she in 1st grade and the girls in our families grew up together.  It’s hard to believe she’s about to enter her final year of high school.  Time truly does fly. Liv wanted her photos to include flowers, gardens, […]

the Specters… year 8

The Specter’s took a chance on me the first year I was in business and they have hired me every year since then to take their family photos.  I have had the privilege of watching their daughter Naomi grow up and she gets more beautiful every year.  Their fledgling vineyard and wine business 8 years ago is not just off […]

Summer Family Portraits

Family portraits on a summer evening with that warm golden light are basically my favorite.  We chose a rural field as the location for the Hinton’s family photos and had a great time getting acquainted and enjoying a perfect Oregon summer night. #jodistilpphotography #familyportraits #summerportraits #familyofsix

Graduates: Friends Since Pre-School

Mariana and Samantha have been friends since pre-school and have maintained their tight-knit friendship for more than a decade in spite of the fact that Samantha moved half-way across the state.  They waited to their cap and gown photo session until Samantha was in town for a visit, then chose the elementary school where they met as the first location […]

ENGAGED!

Melissa and Eric met on the Clackamas Community College track in the thick of the pandemic.  Since there were so few options of things to do, they each individually decided to hit the track for some speed work and arrived at the same time.  The rest, as they say, is history.  It was only fitting that their running shoes made […]

Spring Family Photos

I photographed the Boston family on their family property where they raised their son and now his children come “home” to make memories with them as well.  I absolutely love being able to have the location be part of the story telling in a portrait session.  We finally caught a break in the spring rain to shoot the session and […]

They Did It!

My girl and her friends just graduated from high school.  Some of their friendships started as early as 4 years old.  This squad has grown up together, layering memories and maturity to each year.  These girls friend hard.  They are loyal. Fun. Smart. Athletic. Kind. Inclusive. When they hang out they put their phones down and actually do activities: spike […]

Alli and Livy

Livy and Alli met in kindergarten and have been fast friends ever since.  Livy is the only girl with three older brothers.  She loved coming to Alli’s house because Alli had two sisters, and Alli’s brother loved going to Livy’s to be around some boys.  The two families raised our brood of kids together.  This fall Livy told Alli about […]
