When Your Paths Keep Crossing

Michelle and Josh are two people that God keeps bringing across my path.  My husband first met them on the shuttle bus at the airport when they were newly married and all three of them just happened to be flying to Minnesota. A few months later, they stopped to help our daughter who had a flat tire on the side of the road and we put the connection together again.  Time and time again over the years, we’ve crossed paths in the most random ways.  Which brings me to this winter.  I photographed one of Michelle’s friends and their family.  Michelle asked for my number to schedule a photo session and in the process we realized AGAIN “OH!  It’s YOU!”  They are well past the newlywed phase and fully in the trenches of raising babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  It was such a joy to get reacquainted and photograph not just their family, but also Michelle’s entire extended family.  Her parents were in town from Minnesota.  Her sister – who had her first baby just days apart from Michelle’s third baby – was also in town.  The biggest hurdle?  January photos in Oregon with newborns and very few days to work with before everyone headed home. The day of their scheduled session was supposed to be an all day soak so we pivoted and moved their session forward a day.  The Lord gave us GORGEOUS, mild weather to work with and all those beautiful babies were so well behaved. It was just so special and so fun.  Thank you Michelle for trusting me with these photos.  I’m just so grateful the Lord keeps crossing our paths.  Have an amazing year.
