Heaven

Heaven is a Class of 2022 senior at Newberg High School.  I remember chaperoning kindergarten field trips that Heaven was on so it was really fun to reconnect with her after several years of not seeing her.  What a gem she is!  This girl is joy-filled – bubbling over to everyone around her – in spite of dealing with some very difficult life scenarios.  She is wise beyond her years.  I have enjoyed watching Heaven snapping photos for the yearbook at the football games and playing in the pep band.

Heaven’s best friend is Annabelle.  They opted to book their senior sessions at the same time so they could get some BFF photos as well.  The day of their sessions it started raining on the way to the high school.  Since their first location was in the bleachers, and those are covered, that was no problem.  Instead of rescheduling the remainder of the session these girls opted to change into their next outfits, scrap our original plan for the second location, and wing it.  We shot some photos under cover at George Fox while it was pouring and then they decided to full send dancing in the rain.  It was so so fun!  We rescheduled the second half of their photo sessions and lucked out with beautiful fall sunshine – the best of both worlds.  Have a great rest of your senior year Heaven.  I’m rooting for you!

DISCLAIMER:  the railroad tracks we used are not in use, the girls and their chaperones knew we were technically trespassing, and we had a spotter even though we didn’t need one.  So don’t be hating on us…
