Transitions
I met Lisa seven years ago. Â She was the driver on my first ever Hood to Coast team. Â She’s amazing. Â You would be hard pressed to find a more servant-hearted woman. Â Who volunteers their time, their car, their house (for a rest period), and their sleep for 30+ hours to drive six smelly runners from Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast? Lisa does. Â We entered that race as strangers. Â Bonded. Â Emerged as friends.
When I started my photography business, she called me and trusted me to take her daughter’s senior portraits. Â Haley was one of my first every senior portrait sessions and she was so patient with me. Â Two years later, I got to take Devin’s senior portraits. Â A couple more years of experience had smoothed out the process and given me more confidence and we got some really great images. Â Now Lisa’s family is in another big season of transition. Â Devin joined the Army and just left for boot camp. Â Haley is expecting their first grandchild. BIG transitions. BIG emotions. Â It was my honor to photograph Lisa’s entire family this time around. Â Thank you for service Devin and I can’t wait to meet your sweet babe Haley. Â May God bless your family through this season.
