Paris

I first heard about Paris when my son Grant was a freshman.  She was new to the water polo team and picked the sport up quickly.  The two became casual friends. Fast forward to swim season of their junior year.  Grant came home from an away swim meet, smiling.  Turns out that smile was less about swimming and more about Paris.  One thing led to another and she’s been a consistent part of our family’s story for nine months.

Paris is beautiful.  Duh.  Just look at the photos.  But we all love her for WHO she is, not her outward beauty.  Paris is strong and fit, hard working, and captain of the girls varsity water polo team. She is smart…. like top handful of their class of 400+ students SMART with her high grades and plethora of AP classes.  I will brag about this for her because she’s way too humble to ever tell you this herself. Paris knows the career path she wants to pursue and has a plan in place to get it done. This is such an attractive quality in any person, especially a young adult.  Paris is witty and funny, and like Grant, a little quirky in all the best ways.  They just get each other. Paris has a low tolerance for drama (one of my favorite things about her) and is thoughtful, kind, hard working, and fun.

Thank you Paris for stepping into our family’s chaos and sharing who you are with us.  It was an honor to take your senior portraits. May God bless you in your senior year. He has big things in store for you.
