Josie and Paula

Paula and I have been acquaintances for year and close friends for almost two years.  It sounds silly on paper.  Only two years? Cause it feels like a lifetime.  In those two years we have worked together. Played together.  Run together. Hiked together.  Worked through disagreements together. Shared our joys and sorrows with each other. Cried together.  Prayed together.  Celebrated together. In two years, we’ve put the kind of work into a friendship that often takes a lifetime.  Maybe that’s why it feels like we’ve been friends forever.  Paula is like family to me.

When Paula asked me to do a mother-daughter photo session I was so excited.  We met at Industry Restaurant in Tualatin.  (Side note: If you haven’t eaten here yet, you should go.  The atmosphere is modern and fun, the food is delicious and the service is great.)  Paula is an amazing listener.  It’s a huge part of what makes her an incredible friend and mother.  Instead of traditional posed images we opted for photos of Paula and Josie interacting with each other like they do on a daily basis. Aren’t they beautiful?

Thanks Paula and Josie for a fun afternoon.  I’m blessed by the love you two have for each other.
