A Personal Experience from Beginning to End

Hannah is the daughter of my friend Sandra.  When I met her she was just entering middle school.  Now she’s a senior and graduating from high school this spring. It was pretty special to have her be my first – of what I hope will be many – Senior Fashion Sessions.

Hannah, Sandra and I met for coffee a few weeks before the session to brainstorm ideas, concepts, and come up with a plan to make Hannah’s senior photos unique to her passions and a true reflection of who she is. Hannah and Sandra both had a ton of great ideas.  We took notes, chose a location, and set a date.

The day of the session was HOT, HOT, HOT so we moved the start of her session back by an hour to let the sun go down a little further in the sky.  By the time we started her session, the heat had let up a bit and the lighting was as perfect as it gets.  It made for some magical images both at the high school track and in the meadows at Champoeg State Park.

Hannah’s photo shoot was a creative collaboration of all of our ideas.  It was fun to see it all come together.

Here’s what Sandra had to say about Hannah’s experience with Jodi Stilp Photography LLC.

I just loved Jodi’s willingness to listen to Hannah and her ideas.  I know this made her feel special.  Jodi took the time to make sure she was capturing Hannah at her best, which included physically getting into some pretty awesome positions – laying on the track, in the weeds, going up on a ladder, etc.  I also loved that Jodi incorporated my idea and vision into a shot.  That image melts my heart in a special way.  Jodi made this a personal experience from beginning to end and personalized it to capture Hannah’s natural beauty inside and out.  I love her for that!

Thank you Hannah for choosing Jodi Stilp Photography LLC to capture the beauty of you in your senior year. It was an honor to work with you and your Mom on this project.
