Kept Her Finger on The Trigger

“The thought of getting my 4 yr old, 3 yr old, and 2 yr old to sit for a professional picture is a source of anxiety for me! What will the photographer think of us?!

My children never look at the camera on cue, or sit still! I have rehearsed and used over 2 dozen apologies in professional photography situations- they are tired, they are hungry, they just woke up, they just ate…you name it.

Jodi is the only photographer ever to embrace the spunk, energy, and silliness of my children. Jodi went with it. She kept her finger on the trigger, let my family be…my family and got the most amazing shots.

One of my favorite pictures is me chasing my 2 yr old. The background was beautiful, the angle of the shot was perfect, however, the reality of the shot was that I was chasing my 2 yr old to wipe her nose! Only Jodi would have thought to capture the beauty in that!

She made us all feel so at ease! The kids were having a blast and at times, forgot we were taking pictures. The pressure was lifted from my shoulders. I was able to enjoy the moments we were having! It was fun!

The most amazing part, however, were the pictures! I was so excited. I got the disc and keep running through it over and over! I loved every picture and was amazed with home many great shots she was able to get.
