Lions Den Toys & Books

If you live in or near Eagle, Idaho, a trip to Lions Den Toys & Books is a MUST on your To Do List.  Owners Mesina and Jeff Lunz dreamt of opening a toy and book store that brought back the nostalgia of years past and included educational, classic toys and books that encourage creativity, critical thinking, innovation and confidence in children. Once the dream was born they put in the work to bring this dream to life.  Launched in November 2025 in downtown Eagle, Lions Den Toys & Books was an immediate success. Clients love the reading tree that anchors the cozy book nook.  I personally loved the wooden car tracks and the assortment of cars you can choose to add to your collection.  Oh and the dollhouses with the wooden people and furniture.. SO cute.  I also have to mention all of the outdoor play: binoculars, bug catching kits, sidewalk chalk, hacky sacks, pool toys, etc.  Every aisle and display was packed with thoughtful merchandise from baby toys, to books, puzzles, fidget toys, and even scooters.  I came home with an owl Wigglitz named Owen who now resides on my desk and supervising my photo editing and Lloyd the Lion who presides over my Books-To-Read stack.

This branding job was so fun.  I photographed the store, the merchandise, and the Lunz Family in the store since they all work in different capacities in the store.  They now have all sorts of fun images to work with as they build out their website and marketing plans.  Thank you Jeff and Mesina for inviting me into your little piece of paradise. I loved it!
