Peyton’s Last Session (for a while)

The first time I photographed Peyton she was in elementary school, it was raining, but we shot under cover anyway because she had a dance schedule to work around.  That was the start of a fun friendship… meeting up once a year for sister photos, sometimes family photos, and now this year… senior photos.  Her summer session was about her dogs, flowers, a golden field, and a dance outfit.  We just shot her spring session featuring all the shades of green that Oregon offers in the valley in the spring, a beautiful white dress, and her cap and gown.  Every time I see Peyton and her mom, we laugh a lot.  They just have a natural way of getting stuff done but not taking anything too seriously and it makes for such a laid back, easy interaction.  I got a little sentimental when Peyton put on her cap and gown. Another one of “my” Littles graduating and spreading her wings.  Congratulations Peyton.  It’s been so fun to watch you grow in confidence and clarity over what this next chapter holds for you.  Your future is so bright.  Thanks for letting me photograph these milestones in your life.  Until next time…
