Sophia

Sophia is a Class of 2024 senior at Newberg High School which BLOWS my mind because I remember meeting her at the park when she was not even 3 year old. I was pushing my own almost 3-year-old daughter in the swing and telling my friend over the phone that moving across the country to a new town was lonely for the entire family. Another mom overheard me, introduced herself, then flagged down Sophia’s mom to introduce us to them as well.  It turns out our sons had already met each other at school and were forming friendships.  This “chance” meeting was the start of more than a decade of friendship between all three families and I will always be so grateful.  It was a huge honor to be asked to take Sophia’s senior portraits.  Isn’t she lovely?  She’s smart too, with some sass and a dry sense of humor to round out.  Sophia’s brother wore their Grandpa’s letterman’s sweater in his senior portrait session and it was SO special to see Sophia wear it as well.  Such a fun personal touch and tribute to their Grandpa. I sure do love you Sophia.  Looking forward to seeing where God leads you next and cheering you on through all the senior year things.
