Ava

Ava is a Class of 2022 senior at Westside Christian High School.  Ava wanted an urban setting for her senior portraits. She also wanted non-traditional images – ones shot at different angles and from more trendy perspectives.  We traipsed all over Portland looking for cool spots that matched her vibe and her outfits.  It was such a fun way to spend an afternoon and her photos are so so cool.  What makes her senior portrait session even more unique is that we shot it on five hours notice the day before her scheduled session.   An “atmospheric river” complete with heavy winds was headed our way and scheduled to make its arrival the day of Ava’s session.  On a whim, I texted her mom at 8:59 a.m. to find out if she could pull Ava out of school to shoot her senior session before the storm hit.  They both loved the idea and Ava and I were on location in a matter of hours.  The rain started on my drive home and it DUMPED buckets for the next 24 hours.  Just so thankful that we squeezed her session in before the storm and had so much fun doing it.  Have a great year Ava.  The world is lucky to have you in it.
