Mac

I’ve know Mackenzie since elementary school.  She and a handful of boys (my son included) started playing water polo when they were itty bitty and grew up in the pool together, playing co-ed polo together through middle school.  They all went on to have the kind of high school water polo careers you can only dream about.  We celebrated their friendship, forged through the fires of water polo, with a mini-session at the pool this fall, then honored Mac’s personal success with a graduation mini-session this summer.

Mac was named the Oregon 6A State MVP her junior year, earned several All League and All State honors, and helped her team win two state titles and two third place finishes during her four years of high school.  She’ll take her passion for water polo into her college career, playing for Azusa Pacific University in southern California this winter. But that’s not all…. Mac is also smart, graduating with honors from Newberg High School this June.

Congrats Mac!  I’m excited to follow along in this next chapter of your career.  I know you’re going to continue to excel. Cheers to all the great memories we’ve already made and to the new adventures ahead.
