Class of 2019 Mini Sessions

Newberg High School, like many high schools across the country, holds their graduation ceremony outdoors.  Seniors sit in chairs on the football field while loved ones sit in the stadium.  It’s a great way to host a giant crowd and allow the graduates to be able to invite their family members.  The downside is inclement weather.  Last year, it dumped rain on the uncovered graduates the ENTIRE time.  When they went to change their tassels, the skies unleashed another torrent to “celebrate” with the graduates.  When they went to meet their families in the gym afterward for photos, they were a mess: drenched to the bone, their caps disintegrating from being so water logged.

This year, my son graduated from Newberg High School.  His friends’ experience at the 2018 graduation inspired me to offer Class of 2019 mini sessions.  A quick 15 minutes guaranteed a sweet shot of your grad by themselves, with their friends or with their families.  I didn’t think to offer these until we were a week or two from graduation so I only did a couple of these, but I love the concept and plan to offer them moving forward.
