Worth Waiting For

My Hood to Coast teammate Larisa is a gem.  She is WICKED fast, intense, funny, feisty, smart, beautiful and successful.  We don’t live close to each other nor do we work similar schedules so unfortunately our face to face interactions are few and far between.  Last summer, at our pre-race team meeting, Larisa and I stood outside talking intently – dumping as many life updates on each other as we could in a short amount of time.  She told me all about Ben and how happy he makes her. Fast forward a handful of months and Ben made it official.  I was so honored when Ben and Larisa asked me to take their engagement portraits.

We found a scenic, out-of-the-way mountain location to shoot their session, then dropped back into Newberg for a quick family dinner, before heading to my daughter’s high school lacrosse game. They sat in the press box with us, cheering for kids they barely knew and we had a blast.

Ben and Larisa… I’m so glad you found each other.  Your love is one that was worth waiting for.  Congratulations.
