Try to name someone you know who has trained in the Olympic Development Program?  Yeah.  I came up with no one too.  Until Sydney told me she made the team and got to train with the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program.  Such a huge honor.  Oh… and at the completion of the program, her coach chose Sydney to be the sole recipient of the Best Player Award.  Okay.. I made up the name of the award because I can’t remember the exact specifics, but I do know it was a big deal and Sydney did not expect it and was totally deserving.  We commemorated her accomplishment with a photo session at the pool where she puts in All The Work.  Congratulations Sydney.  So many more big things to come for you.  I’m here for the ride and cheering you on.
