Lara

Lara is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of St. John’s and Bethesda Hospitals.  She’s also my sister-in-law and I am INSANELY proud of her. Check out all these initials behind her name: MHA, BSN, RN, PHN, NE-BC.  I mean C’MON!

Lara went back to school as a wife and mom with two young daughters.  She worked part-time at Starbucks while obtaining her nursing degree.  Worked as a nurse while she earned her masters degree.  Worked as a high-level nurse while she earned her doctorate.  At the same time, she and her husband Chad raised two beautiful, hard working daughters.  They spend a lot of their free time caring for extended family members and hanging with their daughters, son-in-law’s and their granddaughters. Lara is kind.  Hilarious. Smart. Compassionate. Humble. She was my gateway into the Stilp family and I absolutely adore her. I can’t wait to see one of these images hung in the foyer of St. John’s Hospital.  Congratulations Schwipper.  You earned this promotion and you deserve it.  I love you.
