Winter Portraits with Snow

When Rachel booked me to take her family photos for the end of February we thought we were gambling with working around rain.  But winter in Oregon this year has been much colder than usual.  What would have typically just been a wet, cold week turned into a late winter snow storm two days before their session was scheduled.  The day of their photo session we had gorgeous, bright winter sunlight and temps in the low 30’s.  It was definitely cold, but we worked quickly and were able to get some  great photos, including a couple in the leftover snow.  It was so great to meet this sweet family.  I hope to work with them again in the future.
