The Big’s

When our kids were younger we called Grant and Katie “The Big’s” and Alli and Paige “The Little’s.”  Grant and Katie have both flown the nest, choosing universities 1,000 miles away from home.  This summer Grant worked an engineering internship in SoCal and Katie worked a retail internship in upstate New York.  Both of them were only home for a week at the beginning of the summer and a week or two at the end.  Man did we miss them.  In the week they were home I asked if they would be willing to let me take updated portraits of them.  My only requirement for Grant was to “comb your hair and don’t look homeless.”  I could not believe it when he came downstairs in a full suit.  Apparently he needs a headshot for his LinkedIn profile, so he went All In on the photo session.  We were done with the whole thing in less than ten minutes but I will cherish these images of The Big’s forever.  Love you G and Katie!
