Jacob

Jacob is a Class of 2022 senior at Newberg High School.  He plays basketball and likes to hang out with his friends.  Our original plan for Jacob’s photo session was to go out to Champoeg State Park so we could get some rustic/woods photos, but it was raining non-stop the entire week of Jacob’s photo session with the exception of one day before his scheduled session.  I texted his mom at noon with an “any chance we can do Jacob’s senior portraits in the next 4.5 hours before it gets dark?”  We had to switch locations to private property closer to where Jacob lived, but somehow they were able to pull it together to get most of his senior portraits done before we lost daylight.  We finished his session as scheduled, with his family, and lucked out that it wasn’t raining in the 30 minutes that we were shooting photos. Have a great senior year Jacob.  I’m so stoked for basketball season!

We combined Jacob’s senior portraits with some family portraits designed to honor the lives of both of Jacob’s grandfathers. One grandpa always wore lined flannels.  The other Grandpa served in our military.  It was really special to pay tribute to their legacies through these images.  Thank you for asking me to join you in honoring their lives.
