Jane

Jane is a Class of 2021 senior at Lincoln High School.  Like every other Class of 2021 student, she had to adapt her dreams and expectations for her senior year to Portland’s COVID restricted life.  She is honest about the disappointment, but still filled with joy and that big, beautiful smile.  I loved being around her uplifting spirit and easy-going personality. Jane is an accomplished gymnast and did a back flip – with no warm up – in boots because I begged her to. We shot her session on a super cold early winter morning in downtown Portland.  Some of the locations were planned.  Others we just stumbled upon as we were exploring.  I love how her photos turned out.  They seem to really capture the essence of who Jane is.  Have a great rest of your year Jane.  I pray the last half provides more opportunities for you.
