Making It Work

The Willette family photo session was an example of making it work when nothing goes as planned.  We had to reschedule their original photo session because it was pouring rain.  The rain storm knocked a ton of the fall leaves off the trees: a problem because their session was planned around a scenic, fall backdrop.  I woke up the morning of their session with a bad cold and no voice, which makes it hard to direct a photo session if you can’t talk. A race was being staged in the location of the park we had planned to use for their session.  It was cold and one of the Littles started crying and had a hard time recovering. I’m telling you… I think we momentarily all wanted to cry.  Instead, we found a location that still had some fall color, get the shots they wanted, and utilized the SUNSHINE God gifted us, instead of the gloomy rain we originally were supposed to have.  Fist bumps all around!
