Sports Mini Session

My daughter Katie and her best friend Morgan play soccer together at Newberg High School.  They wanted soccer related senior portraits, individually and together, so we decided to shoot a separate sports mini-session, outside of their senior portrait sessions.  It was a very bright day and our time on the field before the football players came out to practice was super limited.  Taking time to find the perfect light was not an option, so we worked with what we had.  It was a good lesson for me on what to do (and what NOT to do) when working with harsh lighting.  The girls loved the photos, even the ones I wanted to throw out.  The overarching story line of this 10 minute photo session is their friendship and their love for their sport.  We have yet to secure a win this season, but I can feel that dub coming soon.  Stay committed and keep working hard girls. It will pay off in the end.
