The Gleaves’
I met Yvonne and Jeff through our sons. Â Their oldest son Gavin was a high level swimmer for Newberg High School when my son Grant started high school. Â His freshman year, Gavin was a junior and the captain of the swim team. Â A friendship was formed between our boys. I had never been to a swim meet before and found all of it so confusing and hard to follow. Â Yvonne walked me through the schedule and gave me guidelines on how to watch. Â One meet, Grant told me he was in lane 3, so I watched lane 3 and cheered wildly as the swimmer in lane 3 won the event. Â When Said Swimmer got of the pool and took of his cap, it was Gavin not Grant. Â I missed Grant’s entire event and acted like a raging lunatic mother thinking my freshman had won a varsity race. Â LOL!
Fast forward three years. Â Gavin is all graduated from high school and all our kids won’t stop growing. Â Yvonne hired me to take their family portraits this summer. Â We had magical golden hour light to showcase their beautiful family. Â Thank you Yvonne for trusting me and for your patience in waiting for your images while I traveled all over Oregon backpacking, camping and running races. Â It’s good to be home and good to get you your images. Â May Jesus bless you and your family in the upcoming year.
