Edinger Family

The Edinger’s are a special family.  Just ask anyone who knows them.

I knew OF Natasha for years.  We worked out at the same gym and had friends in the same circle, but we had never really met or chatted or run together.

And then I heard that Natasha and her husband Scott were packing up their young family and moving to Rwanda for a couple of years to live with, love and serve the people in Rwanda.  I followed their journey via Natasha’s blog and was blown away by their authentic, gritty, determined faith in the face of some really difficult circumstances.

Eventually they moved back to Newberg, but didn’t stay long.  God had stirred their hearts to start a church in Sherwood.  Once again, they followed Jesus into a new unknown, packed up their family, moved to Sherwood and started Journey Church.  The church is almost a year old now and God is moving.  The fragrance of Jesus follows the families that comprise Journey Church.

Scott and Natasha are bringing the Kingdom to earth with their faithful obedience, love, sense of humor and steadfast work.  I am blessed to finally know them personally and to be the one they chose to take their family portraits.

Thank you Edinger’s for being such a great example of faith and love in action.  In Sherwood as it is in heaven…
