Nick + Erin – Haugen Wedding
I met Erin years ago at the day care center at my gym.  She was the friendly face brave enough to work in a room full cranky toddlers and  babies.  My best friend and I hired her several times to watch our kids together so we could go on BFF dates.  I remember hearing that Erin had a boyfriend.  Later on, that she was engaged.
This summer she asked me if I would consider photographing her wedding even though she knew I hadn’t been a first shooter for a wedding yet. Â It was a terrifying proposal, but I couldn’t imagine anyone else telling Erin and Nick’s wedding story. Â If she trusted me with such a huge honor, then I was determined to do it right.
Erin and Nick’s wedding day was hot, but beautiful. Â Smoke from the wildfires had blown in over the mountains, filtering the sunlight to make it appear as Golden Hour all day long.
The Haugen’s wanted a country wedding with a focus on the marriage ceremony and an intimate time with their family and friends in the  reception that followed.  From my observation, their day was everything they wanted and more.
Congratulations Nick and Erin. Â May Jesus bless you as you walk faithfully in this new adventure.
