Blessed By Her Talent
Kathleen and I went to Haiti together on a mission trip. Â We bonded.
Life for Kathleen changed dramatically when she learned she was expecting her first baby. Â He was LONG awaited and our entire team of Haiti Sistas celebrated with Kathleen and her husband John.
We threw her a shower and I took the pictures. (My daughter Alli L-O-V-E-S Kathleen so she came to the baby shower and to the newborn session with me).
Kathleen wanted intimate maternity images so we threw together a “studio” in my master bedroom and winged it. Â We also went into the POURING rain to get a few outdoor pictures.
When Ezra was born, my daughter Alli and I went to their house and we played around with “studio” newborn images.  I had never done that kind of work before and we all giggled as we tried to finagle Ezra into those crazy newborn poses.  We were sweating and laughing.  It took four hours of playing to get enough usable images.  Somehow we managed to get beautiful photos of their little man who was such a good sport.
It’s already been a year since Ezra made his arrival. Â He’s so lucky to have Kathleen and John as his parents. Â May Jesus continue to bless you as you raise your little man. Â Happy first birthday Ezra!
John so sweetly wrote this on my website,
Jodi so beautifully captured my wife’s personality and joy in her maternity shoot, and then did some amazing newborn shots of our little man. Love how all of these turned out and we were blessed by her talent!
