Took a Challenging Group of Nine and Created Beautiful Photos
The Scott Family was some of our first friends when my family moved from the cornfields of Iowa to the rugged Pacific Northwest. It was the summer before 5th grade when we pulled into the driveway of our rental home. Even though the moving truck was still loaded, we went to church cause that’s what you do on a Sunday.
We met the Scott’s at church. They recognized we were new, introduced themselves, and when they found out just how new we were, invited themselves over to help us move in. Is it any wonder they became like family to us?
YEARS later I’m all grown up with a family of my own. When we moved from hustle and bustle of Chicago back to the rugged Pacific Northwest six years ago, The Scotts welcomed us with open arms, inviting us to holiday dinners and loving on our kids.
It was a GIANT honor to photograph their family, even though most of them don’t like being photographed. I even coaxed some genuine smiles out of them – nothing short of miraculous! (just kidding). They insisted I stay for dinner after our session and only mentioned mid-way through dinner that it was their family’s Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebration. #partycrasher
Thank you Scott family for your constant friendship. I love you all.
Here’s what they had to say about their session and their finished photos.
Jodi was amazing to work with. She took a challenging group of 9 various personalities & created beautiful photos that captured our family. She came with ideas and was flexible to work with during the session. She took our feedback with editing to heart and did an amazing job. I highly recommend Jodi for any photo sessions you may be considering!
